Las Vegas

20110112_182656_10.jpgHappy New Year!

We attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, along with over 140,000 technology enthusiasts. Mobile and wireless gadgets and technologies, which is our focus, have an increasingly larger showing at CES.

We have captured the highlights in our full report.

Verizon, calling its 4G LTE network a "High IQ network", took center stage announcing a number of LTE smartphones, tablets and other accessory devices.

eBook readers of CES 2010 gave way to their multi-function cousins at CES 2011, making the show a tablet bazaar.

While there were many tablet devices, a few stood out from the crowd. What is next in smartphone land? we have named our favorite features that will elevate user's temptation to upgrade.

Mobile health saw plenty of action with cellular and Bluetooth connected devices, from ECG readers to blood pressure monitors and remedies for sleepy drivers.

We had our pick of silent winners of the show.

See if you agree with what we have concluded New Year!
